Probably the best moments in the entire game. Trevor is pretty great but his parts in The country before he meets Michael is great. And he loses all of his own identity, and then he moves into his own apartment in the hills and has no more growth apart from the tacked on Tanisha side mission. In just a couple of missions Franklin meets Michael. None of the characters got much to grow before they met each other. Mikhail Faustin in IV were well written pieces of shit that were a true enemy.Īnother thing is the pace of the story. The thing that differentiates him that he's pretty unlikeable compared to the other protagonists.īut, older GTA games had a true enemy that produces tension in the game. But even he isn't that bad, he's just investor that uses you for monetary gain. The Chinese Mafia only show up for a couple of missions and apart from kidnapping Michael once they do very little and offer no threat.ĭevin Weston is the biggest example of a true enemy in the game. But he's mainly an inconvenience, that's actually kind of likeable. Like Steve Haines, he's a cocky bigwig that leverages you into doing his espionage dirty work. In my opinion the overall story has a few peoblems.įirstly, there's no real enemy protagonist to the game. At the GTA-forums this was a popular opinion.
